Sentinel 11 (pathogen sampler) will monitor & report the presence of cereal and pulse pathogens at this site in the mid-North High Rainfall Zone. During this trial, we’ll be collaborating with the Mesonet network. The network is a weather monitoring and warning system sufficient to provide highly accurate and targeted data on the development and presence of adverse conditions for spraying.

We’ll also be sharing information through PIRSA newsletter, CropWatch.

Fungal pathogens targeted

Yellow leaf spot (Pyrenophora tritici-repentis)

Blackleg of canola (Leptosphaeria maculans)

Botrytis grey mould (Botryitis cinerea)

Septoria tritici blotch (STB) (Zymoseptoria tritici)

Chocolate spot of fava bean (Botrytis fabae)
