Sentinel 6 has launched in its first trial at Eastbrook Vegetable Farms’s Nairne site in the Adelaide Hills.

The sentinel unit features one two-metre insect suction trap and one spore suction trap, as well as an onboard weather station. This short trial provided an opportunity to optimise power management onboard the sentinel at a time and location where the limits of the solar-powered system could be tested with overcast conditions.
